Tommaso is an architect with extensive experience on complex infrastructure planning, inner city redevelopment and the latest cities research.
He’s driven by building high-performance design teams through the creation of clear visions, a focus on environmental design standards, and the effective management of innovation processes. Most notably, Tommaso has led the masterplanning of the largest nuclear new build project in Europe, the design and delivery of Birmingham New Street Station redevelopment, and strategic initiatives on London’s industrial intensification. At AFK he is currently working as an associate on commercial and hospitality projects in both the UK and Italy.
Tommaso has taught and lectured extensively, having directed a three-year design research programme at the Architectural Association in London. He recently graduated from the Executive MSc in Cities at the LSE, where he has been working on the latest cities research to improve the way we analyse, strategise and deliver transformational urban projects and policies.
