Graeme Rapley, Director

Graeme Rapley is a Director with AFK, who leads the practice’s technical strategy and outputs. He is an experienced specialist in the design of residential and commercial-led buildings, and adept at identifying opportunities to enhance value.

Graeme is instrumental in driving AFK’s approach to optimisation through rigorous interrogation of briefs and selected options, leading benchmarking exercises, and ensuring early collaboration with specialists and the wider construction industry, to ensure we create responsive and buildable solutions.

He also has significant experience in early stage and concept design as well as the delivery of new-build and refurbished projects at every scale. He is a valuable mentor of AFK's design teams, guiding the firm’s projects through all development phases, from preparation and co-ordination of design through to implementation and site supervision.
