The Lowry Riverside Suites

The five–star Lowry Hotel is an independent luxury hotel located on the Salford-Manchester boundary, and is the only hotel in the region to be part of the prestigious Leading Hotels of The World. Since first welcoming guests in April 2001, the hotel remains a landmark of fashionable hospitality by absorbing the city’s present energy and exuberating a sense of fun and glamour. The hotel is both contemporary and comfortable, offering the largest rooms in the city, as well as six suites and the Charles Forte Presidential Suite which oversee the Irwell River.

Arney Fender Katsalidis refurbished the six Riverside suites and created unique Interiors inspired by the paintings of internationally acclaimed artist Alan Rankle. The boutique riverside rooms each feature a unique artwork by Rankle, elegantly complemented by the designers’ custom colour scheme of the textiles and furnishings, and the new space planning. A creation of a harmonious collaboration with the artist, the rooms distil a moment of luxury in the busy lifestyle of their eponymous guests and the regular visitors of Manchester.

Being a nationally renowned Hotel, The Lowry hosts a diverse demographic of visitors including celebrities from the entertainment, music and sports scenes. This boutique art hospitality space is a regular destination for eclectic tourists and business travellers but also hosts exceptional experiences at its privately rented areas. In order to supplement the larger makeover of the Lowry, Arney Fender Katsalidis designed six novel spaces that not only enhance the renowned artist's work but at the same time elevate the experience of staying in the glamorous suites.
