Nick Hacking, Director and Head of Residential, AFK commented: “I’m really excited to join AFK, and looking forward to building on the practice’s strong design credentials at such an important point in the evolution of UK’s residential market.

“Tackling the need to deliver more and better-quality homes across the UK there are significant opportunities particularly with the emergence of alternative residential products such as BTR, attainable housing, co-living and PBSA, as well as increased focus on fostering communities. By working with clients to unlock value in complex urban environments, we can deliver social and environmentally responsive solutions through positive collaborative engagement."

His appointment underlines our mission to positively contribute to solving the UK’s housing crisis. 2024 has already seen us achieve planning permission on our designs for The Bermondsey Project for Greystar, as well as completing developments for Lendlease and SMC Property, so with Nick now onboard we are definitely going from strength to strength.”
